Recent announcements from the company indicate that it has completed its Series B financing, which will allow it to expand its services and capabilities to supply hydrogen to the market.

The Hysata Water Electrolyzer

Hydrogen is a viable option as it is a manageable energy source , according to consumption needs, unlike solar and wind energy, which depend on climatic conditions. For this reason, the International Energy Agency has recommended its expansive use in sectors such as heavy transportation and industry.

However, a present challenge is maintaining a level of efficiency in hydrogen production . According to the official Hysata website, it indicates that the most efficient electrolyzers on the market reach approximately 75% efficiency, which implies a consumption of 52.5 kWh to produce one kilogram of hydrogen.

Hysata’s electrolyser design demonstrates a big difference, following successful collaboration with scientists at the University of Wollongong, to achieve 95% efficiency. This means that to produce one kilogram of hydrogen, only 41.5 kWh are required. This advanced prototype avoids the formation of interfering bubbles, due to the design of the electrolyzer capillary , which minimizes internal resistance and allows greater efficiency in water division.

Hysata is preparing to increase its production capacity by improving its modular technology. With the aim of using its electrolyzers in future large-scale production plants, and thus producing more energy of up to gigawatts.

Follow us on social networks and don’t miss any of our publications!

Inspenet.com YouTube LinkedIn Facebook Instagram X

Source and photo: Hysata

Hysata’s electrolyser design demonstrates a big difference following successful collaboration with scientists at the University of Wollongong.

[13026,13044

post-155646","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-new-energies
["GET
