Recently, its technological advances have validated the feasibility of this project, now with the objective of increasing the frequency and improving the ranges and capacity of its satellites.

How is the Bluetooth satellite connection achieved?

The Seattle-based company has announced that it managed to establish a Bluetooth connection from space , recording a historic event after being the first company to achieve this technological feat. This achievement allows us to offer a satellite network accessible, globally, to any device wherever it is, via Bluetooth.

From its initial phases, these technologies were launched on its first two satellites on SpaceX’s Transporter-10 mission from California. And to date, it has been possible to receive signals from a 3.5 mm Bluetooth chip at an impressive distance of 600 km.

The initiative has exceeded expectations despite skepticism, even defying the difficulties presented by Bluetooth technology, such as connecting to nearby devices. Alex Haro, co-founder and CEO of Hubble Network, said: ” We managed to demonstrate that we can send and receive Bluetooth signals directly from space, opening a new panorama of technical possibilities and applications .”

Expansion and collaboration

According to the company, connecting existing Bluetooth devices to the satellite network through a simple software update could transform global connectivity, enabling data transmission with substantially lower power consumption and at a much lower operating cost than current solutions. .

Hubble Network is already working with pilot clients in various areas, including domestic consumption, construction, infrastructure, logistics and defense sectors, showing the versatility and broad application potential of its technology.

Almost a year ago, Hubble closed a $20 million Series A financing for Transpose Platform, allowing them to launch their first satellites and begin recruiting pilot customers.

Follow us on social networks and don’t miss any of our publications!

Inspenet.com YouTube LinkedIn Facebook Instagram X

Source: Hubble Network

Photo: Shutterstock

The initiative has exceeded expectations, even defying the difficulties presented by Bluetooth technology.

[13034,13080

post-154167","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-curiosities","categoria_noticias-technology
["GET
