{"id":152618,"date":"2024-05-06T15:41:57","date_gmt":"2024-05-06T19:41:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/element-resources-and-hydrogen-project\/"},"modified":"2024-05-06T16:15:43","modified_gmt":"2024-05-06T20:45:43","slug":"element-resources-and-hydrogen-project","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/element-resources-and-hydrogen-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Element Resources and Rio Tinto explore green hydrogen project in the United States"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Element Resources company has consolidated an agreement with the mining corporation Rio Tinto, for <strong>the evaluation, execution and installation of a green hydrogen project<\/strong> at the Boron borax mine, located in California, USA.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exploring the hydrogen project<\/h2>\n\n<p>This agreement incorporates a land lease agreement, <strong>establishing an exhaustive investigation into the feasibility of the project<\/strong> by Element Resources, a company based in Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project establishes the creation of a  large-capacity green <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/iberdrolas-green-hydrogen-plant-will-be-promoted-by-the-uap\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"89223\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hydrogen plant<\/a><\/strong> , which would be supplied with energy from an independent solar park, located near the mine. For his part, Renny Dillinger, CEO of US Borax, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, has expressed his enthusiasm for the project. \u201c<em>This project is nothing more than an example of our continued commitment to decarbonization. We look forward to moving forward with Element Resources on this initiative.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>In Dillinger&#8217;s other words, these types of collaborations <strong>enable the growing trend in the mining industry to adopt greener technologies<\/strong> in response to the global demand for greater environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n\n<p>Last year, the Rio Tinto company made plans towards sustainability, after signing an agreement with the Finnish company Neste Oyj.
