This achievement highlights the efficiency and dedication of the project team, which has worked tirelessly to achieve this without incident, accumulating more than three million man hours of safe work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, the expansion of the Sabodala-Massawa mine is projected as an asset within Endeavor’s experience<\/strong>, with an estimated annual production that could reach between 360,000 and 400,000 ounces of gold by 2024, with estimates of exceeding 400,000 ounces annually by mid-2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mine is located in the prolific Birimian Green Rock Belt and has been the subject of significant investment which includes the installation of a BIOX plant<\/strong> with the capacity to process 1.2 million tonnes of ore per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mine expansion in Senegal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This expansion project, which had an initial capital cost of $290 million, which will increase the productive capacity of the mine<\/a><\/strong>, and will solidify its position as one of the lowest-cost operations in the industry, with total sustained cost per ounce expected to remain between $750 and $850.<\/p>\n\n\n
