{"id":145972,"date":"2024-04-16T16:14:47","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T20:44:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/gnl-supply-vessel\/"},"modified":"2024-04-16T17:03:12","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T21:33:12","slug":"gnl-supply-vessel","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/gnl-supply-vessel\/","title":{"rendered":"Seaspan Energy Unveils New LNG Bunkering Vessel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Seaspan Energy, has introduced the <strong><em>Seaspan Lions<\/em>, the second<\/strong> 7,600 cubic meter <strong>LNG bunkering vessel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Seaspan Lions<\/em>, the LNG bunkering vessel<\/h2>\n\n<p>The three vessels, named after iconic West Coast mountains, will be pioneers in <strong>offering liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering services on the West Coast of North America<\/strong>, with the <em>Seaspan Lions<\/em> and <em>Seaspan Garibaldi<\/em> scheduled for delivery in 2024 and the third in 2025. The latter will be stationed in the Panama region.<\/p>\n\n<p>Seaspan Energy President Ian McIver highlighted the importance of closing the LNG infrastructure gap on the West Coast, which is crucial for the creation of new markets for <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/u-s-a-has-reduced-its-carbon-emissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"131843\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lower-emission fuel markets<\/a>\n<\/strong> and fostering a more sustainable maritime industry.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seaspan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.seaspan.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seaspan Energy<\/a>\n<\/strong> has worked closely with the Canadian team at Vard Marine on the design of these LNG bunkering vessels.
