The Pearl 10X, part of the next-generation Pearl engine family, is a testament to this commitment and represents the first Rolls-Royce engine<\/strong> to power a Dassault commercial aircraft.<\/p>\n\n

The flight tests, to be conducted in Tucson, Arizona, will involve the participation of pilots and engineers from \n test pilots and flight test engineers<\/a>\n<\/strong> for several months. This program will encompass a variety of engine performance and handling evaluations<\/strong>, including system and vibration testing at different altitudes.<\/p>\n\n

Pearl 10X engine test phases<\/h2>\n\n

The onshore development phases have been detailed and meticulous, with demanding testing of key components such as the low-emission ALM combustion chamber<\/strong> and accessory gearbox.<\/p>\n\n

These tests have demonstrated the engine’s reliability, exceeding expectations in terms of thrust levels. Philipp Zeller, senior vice president of \n Dassault<\/a>\n<\/strong>expressed his enthusiasm for this stage of development, highlighting the reliability and performance requirements of the Pearl 10X.<\/p>\n\n
