In a recent official award, Sapura Energy, a Malaysia-based offshore services company, has been awarded a contract to provide subsea services to Shell’s Malaysian subsidiaries<\/strong>, Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum.<\/p>\n\n

A large subsea services contract for Shell<\/h2>\n\n

Since the beginning of this year, the company has been engaged in providing subsea services throughout Malaysia for the Petronas and Petroleum Arrangement Contractors group of companies. The duration of the contract will be five years.<\/p>\n\n

The contract covers different types of subsea services, including the provision of diving support vessels, air and saturation diving systems, remotely operated vehicles<\/a> (ROVs)<\/strong> and other services related to subsea operations.<\/p>\n\n

These services include subsea inspection, repair and maintenance of offshore structures,<\/strong> pipelines and other equipment, as well as abandonment, intervention, subsea decommissioning and other activities related to Shell’s subsea installations in Sabah and Sarawak waters.<\/p>\n
