Flyability, has been recognized for its confined space drone: the Elios 3.<\/strong> This project has been carried out in collaboration with Cygnus Instruments, by integrating an ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTM) payload, aimed at UT certified inspectors.<\/p>\n\n

A confined space drone with accurate measurement<\/h2>\n\n

The UT A-scan payload provides spot thickness measurements of steel in a variety of applications, from ship hulls to the inside of tanks and pipelines. The Elios 3, with its ability to access confined spaces and overhead measurement points, streamlines thickness gauging and corrosion surveys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In addition, it is equipped with an ultrasonic probe mounted on a smart arm with laser pointer, which provides precise visual guidance to better detail measurement points<\/strong>, with mounting options adaptable to complex industrial environments<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Optimal ultrasound transmission to the material under adverse tests is ensured with a remotely operated couplant dispenser, while each measurement can be labeled in a secure location remotely for later analysis. In addition, the Elios 3 drone <\/strong>can carry a cleaning module to prepare test surfaces, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement.<\/p>\n\n

Analysis and evaluation capabilities under difficult environments<\/h2>\n\n
