This transport unit is owned by <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/prosperouswind.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/prosperouswind.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prosperous Wind Shipping<\/a>\n<\/strong> and operated by it, the vessel will be able to meet the specific needs of the offshore wind industry in Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support vessel is a key piece for Yunlin<\/h2>\n\n<p>It will begin operating phases at the Yunlin offshore wind farm in April 2024, marks a major breakthrough in Taiwan&#8217;s renewable energy landscape, and the Yunlin project has an estimated contract value of around $3 million.<\/p>\n\n<p>The vessel will operate 24 hours a day, facilitating the transit of personnel, equipment and cargo between the selected port, the installation vessel and throughout the wind farm, ensuring seamless support for the development of the project&#8217;s infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Taiwanese energy block<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Yunlin offshore wind farm is being developed by <strong>YWPC<\/strong>, a joint venture project company involving <strong>Skyborn Renewables<\/strong>, <strong>TotalEnergies<\/strong>, <strong>Electricity Generating Public Company <\/strong>and <strong>Sojitz Corporation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>After completion of the project phases, it is estimated that this <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/solar-and-wind-energy-floating-park\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"135778\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offshore wind farm<\/a> will become one of the largest in Taiwan.
