This event marks the operation of an innovative liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier that is planned to be added to the fleet.<\/p>\n\n<p>This construction project by <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hanwha.com\/en.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hanwha.com\/en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hanwha Ocean<\/a>\n<\/strong>a renowned South Korean shipyard located in Geoje, the 174,000 m\u00b3 membrane-type LNG carrier will be ready for delivery in 2026. Equipped with state-of-the-art engine technology from MAN Energy Solutions, a German giant in the industry, the vessel is designed to use boil-off gas in addition to traditional fuel oil.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LNG carrier operability and performance<\/h2>\n\n<p>By integrating this vessel into its operation, Tokyo LNG Tanker will expand its fleet to a total of eleven LNG carriers under long-term agreements.
