{"id":133574,"date":"2024-02-29T21:26:44","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T01:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/classnk-approve-support-vessel-design\/"},"modified":"2024-02-29T21:30:42","modified_gmt":"2024-03-01T02:00:42","slug":"classnk-approve-support-vessel-design","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/classnk-approve-support-vessel-design\/","title":{"rendered":"ClassNK approves vessel design in support of offshore wind farms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The ship classification society, ClassNK, has granted approval in principle (AiP) to the multifunctional floating offshore wind farm support vessel (MFSV) design developed by K Line Wind Service, in collaboration with <strong>Japan Marine United Corporation<\/strong> and <strong>Nihon Shipyard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A multifunctional vessel design<\/h2>\n\n<p>This innovative vessel presents a multifunctional concept, offering versatile solutions for every stage of offshore wind projects. <strong>From initial studies to transportation, construction, and maintenance operations<\/strong>, the MFSV provides a comprehensive response to the needs of the sector.<\/p>\n\n<p>It also plays a key role in regions such as Japan, where shallow waters limit the installation of fixed offshore wind turbines.
