{"id":132210,"date":"2024-02-23T16:16:25","date_gmt":"2024-02-23T20:16:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/photovoltaic-plant-in-china-reaches-120-mw\/"},"modified":"2024-02-23T16:19:46","modified_gmt":"2024-02-23T20:49:46","slug":"photovoltaic-plant-in-china-reaches-120-mw","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/photovoltaic-plant-in-china-reaches-120-mw\/","title":{"rendered":"A photovoltaic plant in China successfully reaches 120 MW"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>TrinaTracker, which specializes in smart solutions, has successfully connected to the grid a 120 MW photovoltaic plant in Dunhuang, in the Gansu province of northern China.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project was developed and constructed by <strong>Longyuan (Dunhuang) New Energy Development<\/strong> and executed by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.fedi.powerchina.cn\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"http:\/\/en.fedi.powerchina.cn\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>POWERCHINA Ningxia Engineering<\/strong><\/a> It is based entirely on solar trackers provided by TrinaTracker, located in the Andun Basin in the Gobi Desert, a region known for its intense solar radiation.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New energy opportunities for the large Asian country<\/h2>\n\n<p>The power plant&#8217;s electrical reach, which extends<strong>over almost 2.4 <sup>km2<\/sup><\/strong>, will generate 290 GWh of electricity per year, bringing great benefits to the region from an economic, environmental, social and productive point of view.<\/p>\n\n<p>Importantly, the project uses <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trinasolar.com\/en-glb\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.trinasolar.com\/en-glb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TrinaTracker&#8217; s<\/a><\/strong> Vanguard 2P products , which have <strong>a structural configuration that significantly reduces BOS costs<\/strong>. The Vanguard 2P has been their featured product since its launch in 2021.<\/p>\n\n<p>Advances in research and continuous development of modules and trackers <strong>ensure optimal installation of ultra-high power modules<\/strong> of more than 700 W to maximize power generation efficiency in the new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/south-korean-turbine-electric-plant-start-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"93571\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">power plant<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improvements and energy efficiency in photovoltaic plant<\/h2>\n\n<p>Execution of the project began in October and was completed in December 2023, connecting to the grid in January 2024.
